With new add-ons GLOBALG.A.P. is ready to unlock new trends and new markets

GLOBALG.A.P. is an internationally recognized set of farm standards dedicated to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). Through certification, producers demonstrate their adherence to GLOBALG.A.P. standards.
 

For consumers and retailers, the GLOBALG.A.P. certificate is reassurance that food reaches accepted levels of safety and quality, and has been produced sustainably, respecting the health, safety and welfare of workers, the environment. Without such reassurance, farmers may be denied access to markets. Being able to show a commitment to good agricultural practices with GLOBALG.A.P. certification has become essential for accessing the market.
 

During this year`s press conference the team of GLOBALG.A.P. and guest speakers will discuss how to meet US import requirements and align with sustainability requirements of leading consumer brand manufactures. Speakers also will talk over the topic of biosecurity for Panama disease TR4 in bananas.
 

The event will take place  in Hall 6.3 (Press Center), Room B (start at 12.30 p.m.).
 

GLOBALG.A.P. will be an exhibitor at Fruit Logistica and can be found in Hall 5.2 Booth D-08 throughout the show, which runs from 7 to 9 February.
