Camposol increases its sales by +49%
FJ | Camposol SA
Extremely positive start of the year for the Camposol company which improves sales in value and volume.
Camposol announces to have recorded in the first quarter of 2014 sales of USD 60.5 million, an increase of +49% compared to 1st quarter 2013. During the same period the volume sold totaled 24,359 tons, an increase of +34, 3% compared to last year.
According to the company these good results are explained by the increase in prices (white asparagus, mango, shrimp) but also by the increase in export volumes (fresh and frozen mangoes, grapes).
Prospects for long-term growth are excellent. Avocados and mangoes are increasingly demanded, the consumption increases in main markets. Asparagus benefit from a decline in Chinese offer.
The Annual General Meeting of Camposol Holding Ltd. took place at the head office of the company in Limassol (Cyprus) on last May 15.
