The 2019/20 campaign has become the record campaign for fresh mango shipments

In Peru the 2019/20 campaign ended with results beyond expectations. The volume exported represented an increase of 37% compared to the previous season.

 

 

 

According to APEM (Asociación Peruana de Productores y Exportadores de Mango) the 2019/20 fresh mango campaign ended with exports of 233,000 tonnes, an increase of 37% compared to the 170,000 tonnes shipped during the 2018 campaign / 19.

 

 

 

This performance of the 2019/20 campaign becomes the record for exports of fresh mango, far exceeding the 204,000 tonnes shipped during the 2017/18 campaign.

 

 

 

For this 2019/20 campaign, the main destinations were Europe with 132,180 tonnes (56.7% of the total), the United States with 74,900 (32.1%), Canada with 8,360 tonnes and then other countries totaling 17,300 tonnes.
