IDYL is the producer of FILALI dates in Boudnib in Morocco, the original soil of the Mejhoul date. The palm grove covers more than 50 hectares in the Tafilalet region. The best varieties from the terroir and local traditions have been planted. Varieties Boufegous, Bouzekri, Nejda and Mejhoul.
Nicknamed the "Queen of Dates", the Mejhoul date is sought after by connoisseurs all over the world for its exceptional qualities: its caliber is generous, its amber color is naturally brilliant, its flesh is melting and delicate. The real Tafilalet Mejhoul offers an incomparable flavor, with subtle aromas of spices and honey. The Mejhoul date is eaten fresh or dry. It is available from November to February and dry throughout the year.
The care given to the palm trees is optimal. The analyzes of the needs are regularly carried out and the answers strictly adapted. The harvest is meticulously controlled and calibrated. The fruits are carefully packed and preserved under controlled temperatures.
