Metro AG plans to open 50 stores

The distributor Metro AG plans to accelerate its expansion in India which has an excellent growth rate and which is ranking second in the world economy.

 
Metro AG plans to open up to 50 wholesale stores in the next five years across the country. First foreign retailer to open a store in 2003, Metro AG currently operates six stores.

India, China and Russia are the largest markets for the development of the German distributor in coming years. Metro AG has 2,250 stores in 25 countries.
