IFCO has been selected by The Co-operative Group

Fresh products sold by The Co-operative Group will be contained in IFCO plastic crates.

IFCO has announced the signing of an agreement with The Co-operative Group (5th British chain of distribution, 2,800 points of sale) for the management of returnable containers (RPC-Returnable Plastic Container) plastic containers.

Agreement with The Co-operative Group aims to simplify its processes and streamline logistics through and through. According to the distributor, the RPC service reduces problems related tocardboard (humidity, collapse, lack of standardization of boxes ...), limiting waste (estimated at 2%), lower costs and improve efficiency.

IFCO operates a fleet of more than 180 million reusable plastic containers (RPCs) globally, mainly used for the transport of fresh products.
