Incomes from Peru's asparagus exports surpass $30 million in January

In January 2023, Peru’s asparagus exports showed a considerable increase compared to the same month of the previous year.

According to Agrodata Perú, in the first month of 2023, the country exported 9.667.899 kilos of the veg worth $30.802.327.

In the same month of 2022, Peru shipped 7.968.260 kilos for $22.880.354 of fresh asparagus.

The United States and the United Kingdom remain the largest recipients of these supplies, with a value share of 44% and 42%, respectively. The Netherlands formed 5% and Spain 4%, while the other countries constituted the remaining 4%.
