Cherry arrives late but harvests in different regions will be well spread out in time.
Like many fruits and vegetables, cherry arrives late on the regular schedule, much later than in 2012.
After a few batches of cherries in emissions that have opened up the market, the regions Gard, Roussillon, Crau began harvests. Ventoux and Moissac regions get ready for the end of May, they will be followed by the region of the Rhone Valley. Then the regions Monts du Lyonnais and the Val de Loire will enter countryside on June 10.
A staggered schedule which should help to satisfy customers until late July or even early August.
