Chilean fruit exports to Guatemala increased by 47%

In the current 2020-2021 season, Chilean fruit exports to Guatemala show an increase of 47.15%, compared to the previous campaign, with total of 1,183,229 boxes shipped, according to the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association.

Guatemala is the seventh recipient of Chilean fruits in the Latin American market. The most popular fruits are apples, table grapes and pears.

This rise is due to the growing demand for apples (+83%), cherries (+65%), nectarines (+51%), plums (+51%), blueberries (+35%), table grapes (+38 %), pears (+28%), among other fruits.
