Anecoop plans production of 40,000 tons of Persimon

For several years Anecoop has increased the production of Persimon; it is expected to reach 40,000 tons this season.
This year the production of persimon should reach 40,000 tons, according to Anecoop.
The current campaign started earlier than expected and will reach 40,000 tons. In some years the crops have increased significantly: in 2009 18,000 tons and up to 31,000 tons in 2010.
The season this year is longer and Persimon is now on the
market for 4 months. This allows better management of production for Anecoop and its cooperative members.
Currently the demand for Rojo Brillante Persimon is growing in Europe. Besides fresh consumption, Anecoop is already working on new formats in the marketing of fourth grade persimon.
