New agreements with China

New agreements that are intended to produce mutual benefits for the two parties.

After his participation in the G20 Summit , Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the signing of new agreements. This Memorandum of Understanding  has several components concerning the exchange of technology , knowledge between universities, tariff reductions for agricultural imports in China and investment in agricultural production.

Among the projects planned , fruit production in Tasmania. Chinese companies are investing millions of dollars to produce cherries. This could easily increase local production of cherries.
