Huge increase in grapee exports from Peru: up 47% over the past 3 years.
Over the past three years, Peruvian grape exports rose 47%.
13 years ago, grape export from Peru accounted for 631,802 kilos or more than 30 containers. Now, Peru exports 132 million kilos, equivalent to
7,060 containers to 50 countries.
The main export variety is Red Globe which represents 75% of total sales. China is the main market for this variety, with a quarter of total exports.
