The small fruit stand in 1892 has grown. It is now a fourth generation business.
The oldest supplier of fruits and vegetables on the Dublin market celebrated its 120th anniversary.
Kate Leonard started a sales activity by taking a stand on 6 December 1892 on the Dublin market with a stand selling fruit and fish. Then his son began wholesale vegetables and opened a shop on North King Street. Since then the company has been passed down from
father to son.
Justin Leonard is now a 4th generation owner and at the helm of Jackie Leonard & Sons Ltd. On this day of celebration, Justin Leonard thanked his friends and customers, promising to continue to serve in 2013 and beyond.
