The " Train of fruit " from the port of Savona - Vado to Orbassano - Torino platform

New fairway just a few days for a rail link between the first Italian port for fruit volumes (Savona - Vado ) and multimodal logistics platform Orbassano (near Turin) .

After some experimentation in December, the rail link will open in the month of January 2016. The link between the port of Savona and Orbassano , will also be an essential component for the connection to the European rail network.

New opportunities for the port of Savona , which can target new markets (Switzerland, France , southern Germany , northern Italy ) and new connections with CAAT (Centro Agroalimentare Torino , installed near Orbassano ) that manages more than 500,000 tons of Fruit & Vegetables per year.
