Candidates for the FLIA (FRUIT LOGISTICA Innovation Award) are selected.
The 10 innovations will be presented during the show on an exhibition area located between Halls 20 and 21 where visitors can vote for the winner.
A panel of stakeholders throughout the sector has selected the following 10 candidates from over 60 items:
"Automato" - Stoffels, Belgium
Distributor outlets: different varieties of cherry tomatoes roll directly into plastic bags.
"Enjoya" - Terra Natura International, Netherlands
Unique: a striped yellow and red pepper.
"Genuine Coconut" - World's Coconut Trading, Spain
The pleasure in all simplicity: organic coconut with patented opening and a straw.
"Harvest Automation" - Hortiplan, Netherlands
A robot for the fully automatic harvesting of green salads.
"Kitchen Minis®-Tomato" - Northern Greens, Denmark
A cherry tomato plant that produces up to 150 fruits on the windowsill.
"Outspan Sam" - Capespan, South Africa
Campaign for children, which describes, among other in videos, the path that traverses the fruit before arriving home.
"Parmentine's Cup" - Parmentine, France
Packaging 250 grams small potatoes to prepare in the microwave. Available with two sauces: tomato & basil or cheese & chives.
"Pearl Herbs" - 2BFresh, Israel
Ideal for topping and decoration: ten varieties of herbs finely chopped.
"QualyCheck" - HortKinetix, Germany
An app to generate a report for the control of the goods and send it via a smartphone.
"WOW! Colourful Perupas® "- HZPC Holland, Netherlands
Different varieties of potatoes related to the original varieties found in the Andes mountains. Very different as regards to the taste, texture and color.
