Year-on-year decrease in Peruvian asparagus exports in 2022

Exports of fresh Peruvian asparagus throughout 2022 totaled 131,295,602 kilos, worth $372,252,711, according to Agrodata Peru.

 

 

This means a year-on-year decrease in both volume and value compared to the 143,007,744 kilos for $423,101,942 achieved in 2021.

 

 

The main destination markets in 2022 were the United States (65%), the Netherlands (10%), the United Kingdom (9%), Spain (8%), Belgium (2%), Canada (1%), among others.
