Macfrut 2012 to promote PDO and PGI products

Macfrut is increasingly international and is increasing the areas devoted to PDO and PGI products.
A few months before its 29th edition, Macfrut has announced some important news.
Spaces will be dedicated to PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) and PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) products. The main consortiums for PDO and PGI participants will be able to better present their products to buyers and trade visitors from around the world.
The international character of the show (80 foreign delegations in 2011) will be increased again
this year with the presence of exhibitors from Eastern Europe (Serbia, Croatia and Poland).
Domenico Scarpellini, President of Cesena Fiera comments that these latest developments reinforce the importance of the show to serve as liaison between supply and demand, Italy and abroad and by promoting meetings and supporting companies in their business.
