The Belgian business Agrafresh invest 8.5 MEUR in the north of France

Agrafresh, a company specializing in salads and ready-to-eat vegetables, will be located in northern France.

The production unit will be installed in the area of activities Actiparc, Arras (Pas-de-Calais). The total investment is 8.5 million euros. The site will include 5 000m2 of storage, 800 m2 of office space, and will have a total area of ??17,000 m2. It will be operational in the second half of 2015.

The site was chosen for its proximity to major agricultural areas of the region, it will produce salads and ready vegetables.

Agrafresh is a Belgian family company based near Ghent, which sells nearly 8,000 tons of products for mass distribution (more than 400 references and 64 different vegetables). The French site will allow Agrafresh to double within 3 years, its current production.
