Wessanen announces acquisition

Dutch retailer Wessanen has announced the acquisition of distributor Natudis. Wessanen already owned 70 percent of Natudis, but now has a 100 percent holding. Natudis is part of the European Distribution activities of Wessanen and is the leading supplier and distributor of branded natural and health food products in the Benelux. The company distributes approximately 9,000 different products to 1,000 customers in the Benelux with proprietary brands such as De Rit, Natufood, Ekoland, Vetara, Molenaartje and Tartex.
