New President and new Vice-President at the head of WAPA

During the Annual Meeting of the WAPA (World Apple and Pear Association), a new President and a new Vice-President were elected.

Peter Beaven (Pipfruit New Zealand) was elected president in place of Kevin Moffitt (USA Pears), who chaired the association for 2 years.  Daniel Sauvaitre (ANPP - France) was elected Vice President of WAPA, in the role previously occupied by Peter Beaven.

The members of WAPA, founded in 2001, come from the main producing countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, USA, France, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Slovenia, South Africa, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Scandinavia.
