Increase in Peruvian yuca exports

Chile remains the major importer of the product to date
From January to August of 2024, Peruvian yuca exports increased in volume and value compared to the same months of 2023, reports Agrodata Perú.
During the analyzed lapse in 2024, the country exported 3.811.221 kilos of the product, worth $1.263.128
In the same months of 2023, Peru shipped 2.878.479 kilos of yuca, for a total value of $748.773
The main recipients in 2024 remain Chile ($1.180.000), Hong Kong ($40.000) and the United States ($19.000).
