Lettuce Attraction, the new event dedicated to lettuces and salads

Throughout the 2023 trade fair (03-05 October), and at various locations on the IFEMA MADRID trade fair grounds, visitors to Fruit Attraction will be able to enjoy a full programme of activities reflecting the productive, commercial and gastronomic importance of lettuce, one of the most widely consumed vegetables in the world, and for which Spain is the world's leading exporter.
Lettuce is the star product at Fruit Attraction 2023 (03-05 October), and this importance will be confirmed with 'Lettuce Attraction: a worldwide celebration of leafy vegetables' organised by PROEXPORT, the association that brings together most of the lettuce growers in Spain.
Throughout Fruit Attraction 2023 (03-05 October), and in various locations at the IFEMA MADRID trade fair centre, visitors will be able to enjoy a full programme of activities reflecting the productive, commercial and gastronomic importance of lettuce, one of the most widely consumed vegetables in the world, and for which Spain is the world's leading exporter.
A huge lettuce garden (over 50 m2), located on the Central Avenue terrace between Halls 5 and 6, will demonstrate how this product is grown in south-east Spain, with different varieties, irrigation technologies and sustainable practices.
For production and retail professionals who want to know the keys to success in the lettuce and leafy greens sector, the afternoons of Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 will feature presentations and discussions with some of Europe's leading producers and experts. Venue: the connection halls 7 to 9, home to most of Spain's salad producers.
The Factoría Chef area will host 5 showcookings, led by top chefs, showing why lettuce is the star of every kitchen.
