Bunge to buy Kama Foods

Bunge Europe, a subsidiary of US food and agribusiness company Bunge, is to acquire Polish edible oil and margerine producer, Kama Foods. The deal is worth in the region of US$25 million and will be completed at the end of June 2004. Bunge said that the transaction is part of its continued expansion into Eastern Europe.
