Delhaize : Strong earnings growth in Q3

Belgian supermarket group Delahaize have announced third quarter earnings of 53.5 million euros, up by 124.8% on the same period last year. However, the group's turnover fell by 7% to 4.7 billion euros due to exhange rage differences. The group's operating profit for the quarter was nevertheless up by 12.2% to 194.9 million euros.
