French stage in European tour for Mexico's Calidad Suprema

Fernando Fernandez of Mexico's Calidad Suprema in France to promote the label and Mexican exports.
Calidad Suprema (MCS), the Mexican national seal of quality assurance is promoting itself in European markets in the UK, Holland and France.
Fernando Fernandez, director of global promotion has just completed a European tour (London, Amsterdam, Paris) to meet with trade associations and industry professionals. Presentations with the participation of Promexico focused on the progress made by Mexico GAP and responses to the certifications required in Europe.
His long visit to Rungis allowed him to meet with importers and wholesalers who are familiar with Mexican products

The label covers forty products, 63% of which fruits and vegetables with the others belonging to the farming and food sectors. The number of certified companies of Mexico Calidad Suprema (MCS) reached 411 and represents 20,876 growers. The label has been adopted by more and more organizations of producers and packers of the country who recognize a vital role in assisting their increasing exports to Europe.
