This tailor-made platform has been designed to meet the Group's ambitions for technical excellence. Its volume makes it the leading ripening site for bananas, mangoes and exotic fruits in France.
On Monday August 31, at 2 p.m. sharp, SIIM employees officially integrated their new building, located on Place Paul Omer-Decugis (named after the Chairman of the Group from 1932 to 1973), within the Paris-Rungis International Market.
More than 12,000 m2, divided between the head office of the Omer-Decugis Group and the warehouse. With a differentiated cold storage volume of 1,000 pallets and 42 ripening chambers with a simultaneous total capacity of 67 trucks (1,608 pallets), it is the 1st massified ripening site for bananas, mangoes and exotic fruits in France. .
The SIIM platform is equipped with several innovative systems adapted to the Group's activities - air treatment, ripening, storage and preservation, lighting, cold production, etc. - and responds to global performance and energy efficiency challenges. To be a center of excellence serving a range of fresh fruit and vegetables adapted to customer needs and consumer expectations.
