Aldi expands in Florida

Aldi is to increase its American presence by doubling the amount of outlets it has in the state of Florida over the next year.
The chain, which sells almost exclusively own-brand products in America, currently has twenty-six stores in the area.
It's hoped that six stores will open before the end of this year in Orlando. This is running concurrently to the impressive expansion the firm is enjoying in Australia, specifically on its east coast.
The Managing Director for Aldi in Ireland and England, Paul Foley, left the business by mutual consent last week.
