Greece holds the EU presidency until June 2014

The rotating presidency of the EU returns to Greece for 6 months.
Herman Van Rompuy, José Manuel Barroso, and the 28 European Commissioners made a trip to Athens to meet with the government as they do for each EU Presidency.
According to forecasts of the Greek government and the European Commission, Greece should experience growth this year of 0.6% and thus put an end to six years of recession.
But the country has predicted a modest budget (€ 50 million) for receiving the EU membres over the next few 134 meetings scheduled in the coming 6 months. France had spent $ 170 million during its presidency in 2008, and the small Cyprus € 62 million in 2012.
