Exotic fruits as pineapple Victoria of the Reunion island did not arrive to Rungis.
The cloud of ashes paralyzes the air traffic and makes impossible the arrival of some fresh products to Rungis.
Rungis receives 90 % of the cargoes of fruits and vegetables by the road and only 10 % by air, essentially products of against season from the South hemisphere, French Overseas departments and territories or from other countries.
Wholesalers who waited for planes of Israel loaded in particular with aromatic herbs, did not receive their commands. But they put in perspective that: “it is spring, and we import only 40 % of products."
Exotic fruits, passion fruit, mangoes, or pineapple from La Réunion did not arrive.
