U.S. exports of dried fruits increased by 26% last year in Russia.

The United States became the main supplier of Russia, currently exceeding 50% of the market share, according to the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service.
In 2012, Russia has set a new record by importing 88,597 metric tons of dried fruits (walnuts, almonds, pistachios, hazelnuts). U.S. sales to Russia increased by 26% in 2012, covering 94% of the almonds market and 26% of pistachio market.
The upward trend will continue in 2013 as reported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
