The Cambodian government wants to stimulate boost production and export of agricultural products. A set of measures has been put in place to promote good agricultural practices, to adopt regulations concerning organic farming, processing and labeling of products guaranteeing consumers quality and food safety.
All these measures should encourage the development of organic vegetable production and thus limit the volumes imported from neighboring countries. Then increase vegetable exports.
