After the successful digital edition of BIOFACH and VIVANESS in 2021, now the organizators prepare the face-to-face event, the International Fair for Organic Food, and Natural and Organic Personal Care, which will be held in Nuremberg, Germany, from 15 to 18 February, 2022.
The upcoming event will include the Tuesday to Friday schedule, consisting of both face-to-face presentations and digital add-ons.
BIOFACH and VIVANESS will showcase a wide range of natural and organic cosmetics, as well as organic foods from exhibitors from over 70 countries.
The exhibitors will be spread over thirteen halls. VIVANESS will be in Hall 3C, while BIOFACH will be located in Halls 1-9, 3A, 4A and 7A. Halls 7-9 will put the spotlight on German exhibitors, while halls 1-6 will have an international focus.
The joint trade fair will offer various attractions in such thematic focus areas: Experience & Discover, New Products & Trends, Know-how & Learning, in addition to the Novelty Stand which will provide up to 180 spots at VIVANESS and 600 at BIOFACH, including the Pavilion for Innovative Young Companies subsidised by the German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control - BAFA, and featuring 45 startups (VIVANESS 13, BIOFACH 32).
For those who will be searching for new products and inspiration, there will be the special show Breeze for international startups at VIVANESS. The “worlds of Experience” WINE, OLIVE OIL and VEGAN will offer product displays and supporting programs. The Know-how & Learning area will hold the congress for specialist retailers “Fachhandelstreff” (in German language only), and the network hubs Initiatives & NGOs and Generation Future.
The most exciting new products will be decided by the professional audience in the Best New Product Awards. The International Organic Wine Prize and Olive Oil Award will also be presented. BioThesis, the Organic Food Industry Research Award, will acknowledge the best thesis on a topic linked to organic food production.
The BIOFACH Congress will also feature the Agriculture Forum which will focus on issues affecting farmers.
With the theme Organic.Climate.Resilience, which has been developed with BÖLW and IFOAM in previous years, the BIOFACH Congress will examine how organic principles make food production more climate friendly and resilient, a highly important issue that Louise Luttikolt will shortly talk more about. Other topics will include the latest trends and developments, policy shifts and political issues, market research, EU agriculture policy, sustainable packaging, plant-based and organic food, and questions related to organic and regenerative farming.
The VIVANESS Congress will take up the thematic areas addressed by the international natural and organic cosmetics market.
As well as market insights and developments, these will include labelling and packaging, consumer attitudes to digitalisation, digital tools, apps, and the trend towards circular beauty.
