Positive results for the last season, meeting in August for next season!
The Cooperative of Cévennes Origin recorded a turnover of of more than 5 million in 2013/14, an increase of +4.2% compared to the previous season.
The flagship product of the cooperative, Sweet Onion of the Cevennes is gaining ground. Trade volumes of sweet onions amount to 2,100 tons, market conditions were good despite the bad weather that delayed the start of the season.
After 2013, which saw an increase of +15% of the culture area, this year 2.7 additional hectares will be brought under cultivation and 4 new membership applications for the cooperative are pending.
For the upcoming season, the marketing period will be extended, thus proving the continued production of Sweet Onion of the Cevennes.
