An increase of 58% registered in exports

The value of horticulture product exports registered an increase of 58 percent over the past three years. Horticulture export earnings increased to ?428 millions up from ?285 millions, according to the Ministry of Planning and National Development in its Mid Term Review of the Economic Recovery Strategy for Wealth and Employment.
Between 2002 and 2005, the value of key agricultural commodities rose as a result of good market prices and good weather conditions.
