Soldive is now offering melons for fast-food chain McDonalds.
McDonalds is now offering melons from leading French supplier Soldive.
The 1200 McDonalds restaurants in France this summer will now promote a new seasonal fruit ready to eat. The new addition to the menu contains 2 slices of Charentais yellow melon yellow weighing 80gr. It is sold individually or in special children's Happy Meal menu.
Selected according to size and maturity, the slices of melon from Soldive are supplied for sale only four days after being picked and can be eaten before 8 days.
The "melon à croquer" bags (crunch melon) are available until August 30, McDonald's plans to sell 1.5 million units.
