Rangoon wholesale market will move to a new place abandoning its site in town for new facilities.
Rangoon is going to be equipped of a big new wholesale market which should open in a few months.
Under construction, the new Thirimingala market should open in October.
Thirimingala market will occupy 5 hectares. It will include several buildings, sites of storages, several restaurants and a big parking lot.
The current Thirimingala market, situated in town is opened 24 hours a day and shelters 2.200 businesses on 5 floors. Trucks of market delivery provoked traffic jams and noise pollutions.
Construction of the new market was decided to improve road traffic of the town and logistics of farming sector.
