Opportunities in exotic fruit

Thanks to its differences in geography and climate, Colombia can produce a wide variety of products. In the hot zones, one can find pineapple, papaya, banana, coconut and mango among others. In the mild zones grow citrus fruit as well as other fruit and vegetables varieties. last, the cold zones are suitable for potatoes, varied fruit and vegetables. Even though Colombia has to prove it is reliable before ranking among the largest exporters of exotic fruit in the world, it is already one of the leading suppliers in the European market and ranks the 5th largest producer of exotic fruit in the Caribbean/Central & South America area.
