The trend is positive for Turkish grapes

In Turkey the export season for table grapes is considered very satisfactory, provisional results show an increase in value of + 15% compared to the previous campaign.

 

 

 

According to data from Aegean Exporters' Association, exports of table grapes from June to October generated $ 120 million, or + 15% over the same period of the previous season.

 

 

 

With regard to destination markets, Russia is the largest customer of Turkish grapes with a value of 67.1 million USD, or 56% of total exports. Then Ukraine with 13.4 million USD and Germany with 6.7 million USD.

 

 

 

For Aegean Exporters'Association, this season of fresh grapes' exporst is very satisfactory. In order to diversify their destination markets, Turkish professionals hope to open new markets. Negotiations on health protocols are under way with China.
