61 millions euros to revitalize the agriculture

The Cameroon Minister of agriculture and rural development, Mr Jean Nkuete, revealed on November 23rd, 2006 the budget intended for the Cameroonian agriculture for 2007. The ministry has for its activities to come from a 61 million euro budget, which is 12 million euro more than in 2006. This budget contains the production of quality seeds, the intensification of the food security, the promotion of the agricultural mechanization as well as other numerous projects.
