Chinese products achieving European PDO / PGI

Chinese products have recently been recorded by the European Commission, the PDO and PGI. Results are published in the Official Journal of the European Union:
- Shaanxi Guo Ping (PDO), apples
- Logjin Cha (PDO), green tea
- Guanxi Mi You (PDO), sweet-sour fruit
- My Lixian Shan Yao (IGP), yam.
Chinese products for other European certification is ongoing: Dongshan Bai Lu Sun (asparagus), Jinxiang Da Suan (garlic), Pinggu Da Dao (peaches), Yancheng Long Xia (crayfish), Zhenjiang Xiang Cu (vinegar).
These products fall under the reciprocal agreement between China and Europe. This agreement (10 plus 10) 10 protects agricultural products from both sides.
European products to be registered in China” Grana Padano, Prosciutto di Parma, Roquefort, Agen Plums / Agen plums ‘mi-cuits’, Priego de Cordoba Sierra Mágina; County; White Stilton cheese / Blue Stilton cheese; Scottish Farmed salmon and West Country farmhouse cheddar.
