Agriculture ( crops , dairy products, wine) is about 3.5% of GDP in Greece and generates about 5.5 billion euros of exports.

With the uncertainties caused by short- term thinking of European politicians, who were added to the adverse effects of the Russian embargo (half the peaches and strawberries were taking most of the leadership of Russia) , the agricultural sector knows bad days.

Professionals in Greece showed that regular customers are beginning to turn away from Greek products , seeking other suppliers.
