Bell pepper marketed under the Tatayoyo brand from Rijk Zwaan (Netherlands). This pepper has a distinct and strong flavor that comes from wild peppers. With its medium-sized pod between a bell pepper and a snack pepper, it is ideal for a snack.
“From the start, our goal with Tatayoyo was to create a pepper that was not only sweet but also tasty and aromatic,” says Heleen van Rijn-Wassenaar, Marketing and Business Development Specialist at Rijk Zwaan. “10 years ago we started growing peppers until the taste, color and size met our expectations. We now have a product that also convinces consumers,” adds producer Bianca van Haperen.
2nd-FLIA 2023-Silver
The IDEAL Melons concept from Sygenta Seeds (Netherlands), with its harvest indicator is a patent-pending innovation that signals each stage of a melon's ripening process: when it can be harvested, shipped, stored on shelves and consumed.
3rd-FLIA 2023-Bronze
The Brocomole, Anecoop (Spain). New type of guacamole, with added broccoli which reduces the carbon footprint of guacamole by more than 50%, because growing broccoli requires less water. Brocomole is 97% fresh broccoli and avocado and contains fibre, vitamin C and potassium.
