Peru’s fresh fig exports reach $5.4 million until October

The strong performance consolidates Peru’s position in premium fig markets across Europe and North America.


Peru exported 893,643 kilos of fresh figs worth USD 5.4 million (FOB) between January and October this year, according to data from Agrodata.


The Netherlands remained the top market, absorbing USD 1.95 million in shipments. It was followed by the United Kingdom (USD 1.69 million), United States (USD 376,757), France (USD 374,817), Hong Kong (USD 261,053), Canada (USD 243,521) and Germany (USD 125,598).
