You have until October 4th, to register and participate in the MERCABARNA 2017 Race!
Sunday, October 8th MERCABARNA will open its doors to the 3rd edition of the Run on foot (5km and 10km) through its installations. The organizers are expected to welcome more than 4,000 people (2,000 runners and as many friends and family) for this event, which is both sporty, fun and supportive.
The objective of the Race is to introduce to the general public MERCABARNA, the wholesale market of Barcelona which is one of the most important sites in this area, in different races (5 km and 10 km) in its facilities. This edition of the Race coincides with the 50th anniversary of MERCABARNA and the organizers have prepared many activities, gifts and surprises for the public. Including an enormous cake of 5 floors and 2 meters high planned for more than 4,000 people.
This year, the MERCABARNA Race will support Fundació Arrels, which for the past 30 years has taken care of the homeless in Barcelona. By collecting donations and returning part of the sums collected (inscriptions, meals).

To enter the race, registration is open until Wednesday, October 4th.
