Carrefour Spain doubles its sales of organic mango in 2025 with more than 1.2 million kilos
Carrefour consolidates its position as a leader in the purchase of national agro-ecological mango. The company expects to reach 1.2 million kilos of mangoes of Spanish origin, compared to 600,000 kilos purchased in 2024, double that of the previous year. The company thus ratifies its commitment to the Spanish countryside by developing stable relationships with its suppliers of national origin. This 100% increase in purchases allows Carrefour to expand its offer in Spain and boost exports to other European countries such as France, Belgium and Poland. In addition, the company will sell for the first time the national mango under the brand Carrefour Círculo de Calidad in a new packaged format, adding to the existing bulk offer.
Carrefour Círculo de Calidad mangoes are distinguished by their commitment to sustainability and agroecology. The mangoes are grown without pesticides and fungicides, and water is used rationally and efficiently on all farms. Carrefour reaffirms its leading position in the distribution of national mangoes grown under agroecology criteria, expanding its proposal so that customers can enjoy the fruit in more formats and with the guaranteed quality of the Carrefour Círculo de Calidad brand.
