Peru’s fresh pineapple exports reach $11.4 million through August

The United States accounts for the vast majority of shipments.
Peru exported $11.40 million worth of fresh pineapples between January and August 2026, according to Agrodata.
Shipments during the period totaled 1.06 million kg, with an average export price of $10.72 per kg.
The United States remained by far the main destination, accounting for $10.92 million in shipments during the first eight months of the year. Mexico ranked second with $409,842, while other destinations together represented $66,632.
For comparison, Peru exported $16.89 million and 1.62 million kg of fresh pineapples during the full year of 2025, at an average price of $10.42 per kg.
