Macfrut 2021 to start with China Day

The opening event of the 37th edition of Macfrut will be China Day, a day dedicated to China. Entirely digital, China Day will be a unique opportunity for professionals around the world.

 

On September 6, the day before the start of Macfrut 2021, China Day will take place. A whole day dedicated to China. The event is organized in collaboration with ATPC (Agricultural Trade Promotion Center), the Chinese government agency for the promotion of agricultural products.

 

China Day will take place exclusively online and will include an exhibition space, a section dedicated to B2B meetings, and the 2nd edition of the Italy-China Forum, which, as in the 2020 edition, will be a unique opportunity to take stock of trade relations between the two countries, analyze business opportunities and provide accurate data on production and import-export of the fruit and vegetable sector in Italy and China.

 

The exhibition space will have more than 100 Chinese companies and many international entities interested in the Chinese market. All virtual stands will be visible in English, Chinese and Italian, while for B2B meetings there will be an interpretation service dedicated to exhibitors and buyers.

 

“During the 1st edition of Macfrut Digital, the Chinese participation showed very positive results: the pavilion dedicated to China obtained more than 120,000 visits during the 3 days and the exhibitors received orders for a value of more than $ 10 million thanks to their virtual presence at Macfrut. For this reason, China has confirmed with interest its participation in the 2021 edition, with more than 100 companies exhibiting on the digital platform, which testifies to the fundamental role of Macfrut as a hub of trade between Asia and Europe. »- said Renzo Piraccini, President of Macfrut.
