Fruits and vegetables from the Maghreb could compete with Canada's imports from Latin America and the Caribbean.
Fruits and vegetables from the Maghreb are generating interest from Canada.
Canada is obliged to import a large portion of its fruits and vegetables because of the country's climate. The export potential of the Maghreb is important according to the Ambassador of Canada in Algiers.
Despite the distance, fruits and vegetables from the Maghreb could compete in Canada with imported agricultural products from
South America and Caribbean if exports can increase.
