Programme supports overseas marketing of Taiwanese pineapples and bananas.
Taiwan is continuing to expand its overseas sales and distribution networks for fruit exports, including pineapples and bananas, according to the Ministry of Agriculture. The work is part of ongoing efforts to support access to foreign markets.
Authorities said strengthening export marketing channels remains a priority to help Taiwanese fruit reach more buyers abroad and maintain stable trade. The focus is on improving distribution links and promoting key products in international markets.
Pineapples and bananas were identified as priority fruits for overseas promotion, reflecting their strong role in Taiwan’s export sector and steady demand in regional and global markets. Expanding these networks is expected to support consistent export growth and reinforce the presence of Taiwanese fruit in international trade.
