Interpera 2025 in Belgium on June 25 and 26
The next Interpera international pear congress will take place on June 25-26, 2025 in Hasselt, Belgium.
The next Interpera 2025, organized by VBT andAREFLH, promises to be a key event for all players in the pear industry worldwide. Hosted at the Corda Campus, a leading technology and innovation center, Interpera will enable participants to exchange views on current issues and prospects. The program is currently being drawn up, and will be published shortly.

VBT Verbond van Belgische Tuinbouwcoöperaties, the Association of Belgian Horticultural Cooperatives, represents and defends, at both national and international level, the interests of Belgian producer cooperatives in the fruit and vegetable sector. VBT has 6 members, who together generated sales in excess of 1.41 billion euros in 2024, including 135 million euros for pears. Belgian pears are traditionally the most exported fresh produce.
AREFLH is the Assembly of European Fruit, Vegetable and Horticultural Regions. Since 2008, the Interpera congress has always been organized by AREFLH and a local partner from a pear-producing country. AREFLH's mission is to represent and defend the interests of its members (Regions and Associations of Fruit and Vegetable Growers' Organizations) before European institutions. Its members are present in 14 European countries.
